Ryan King Indianapolis began his career as a ‘non-commissioned officer’ in the US Army. He served in various units on Active Duty as well as the Army National Guard and Army Reserves from Jan 1997 to July 2015. As an overseas veteran, Ryan was offered a membership in the American Legion and supports various other Veteran advocacy organizations. He completed his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Middle Tennessee State University (Murfreesboro, TN). As part of his MBA, Ryan specialized in ‘Production Operations Management’ due his love and experience in manufacturing. He earned his Bachelor’s of Science (B.S.) Degree in Accounting from the ‘Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University’. At Virginia Tech, he was an active member in the ‘SEED’ (‘Student-managed Endowment for Educational Development’) between the years 1993 and 1995. At the time of Ryan’s involvement in SEED, this student-run group invested $1M of the University’s endowment fun providing real world experience to high achieving students. Ryan King Indianapolis was the Finance Director at Pinnacle Mapping Technologies, Inc. from June 2002 to October 2012. This was a veteran-owned, woman-owned certified small business that was started in 2002. While working in the organization, Ryan held various senior level positions within Pinnacle in the Accounting/Finance and Business Development fields. In business development, he prepared and execuite mass e-mail campaigns, attended tradeshows and “cold-called” entities for new clients. He prepared technical proposal materials for prospective clients all over North America. As part of his Accounting/Finance duties, Ryan examined and prepared managerial and financial reports for internal as well as external stakeholders. He offered financial and operational analysis on the forecasted/budgeted results. He developed pricing and the cost models in support of contract proposals. From Dec 2012 to Feb 2013, Ryan King Indianapolis worked as a Financial Support Consultant for a Smart IT client in the healthcare industry. He offered his experience on DCAA audits as well as cost accounting functions for the client. In addition, he worked as a temporary controller with Flagship Logistics Group where he supervised the in-house payroll, assisted in the implementation of new accounting and MRP software and he provided ad hoc weekly reports to support the operations of the company. During the period Dec 2015 to May 2016, Ryan King Indianapolis worked as a contract Financial Analyst for a client of ETeam. While working for this pharmaceutical company, he developed and implimented a contract compliance program that measured actual versus contracted obligations to evaluate Loss-of-Bargain (LOB) positions for future negotiations. Follwing that time, Ryan King Indianapolis served as a Senior Consultant for the Butler Business Consulting Group located at the Lacy School of Business during the period April 2017 and October 2017. As a Senior Consultant for the group, he managed and participated in engagements for various clients across multiple industries on projects involving Finance Analysis, Accounting, Business Strategy/Development and Process Improvement.
